I had surgery 3 days ago.

Is there any advantage to sleeping at a slightly upright angle as opposed to supine? I'd rather sleep supine, but if there's any healing benefit/reduction of swelling by propping myself up, I'm all for it.

Thanks!

There's not any specific advantage to sleeping with your head up, unless your surgeon has recommended that position, in which case, he or she may have a reason. I recommend that patients sleep however they're comfortable...so that they get a good nights sleep.
