would there be any significant weight loss after surgery due to blood loss and all?
OR even if there is weight loss, would it be minimal?

After surgery there should be a transient gain in weight.Without getting overly complex your blood vessels after surgery become a bit leaky for a short period of time and you retain more fluid so your weight goes up briefly.  Blood loss is minimal so from that perspective there would not be a significant change.I typically allow the patients to see what was removed at surgery.I would recommend you focus on how much and what types of tissue were removed.
