Hi Peter. Lista did not say why laser therapy doesn't work on the scars. Peter & Braveboy your results look good to me, I don't see the tube problem you have.  Do others share your opinion or maybe are you being hard on yourselves?  Peter summer will be over soon, maybe just let it be for 9 months as Fielding recommends.  I hope all goes well.

Well guys so far its been a good summer for me being shirtless.I"ve been shirtless in my backyard,i"ve been on a mini vacation with a group of friends and i have also been at 2 pool parties and have so far passed the test. The biggest test is fast approaching when i go on my summer vaction with family and friends for two weeks.Considering nobody knows i had surgery except my wife ,no body has mentioned anything other than i look real good.I still see breast when i look in the mirror so that is probaly why nobody has really noticed a change or something different other than looking fit. What i mean is if my chest is smaller you would think other people would notice a difference.so why arn't they???? confused is there really a change for the better.

i think people u know DIDNT know you had t-its, so they just know you've lost weight in general, including in your chest area.  i wouldnt worry about it!

u being able to go shirtless is all that matters...i still wouldnt.

we'll guys i'm back from my vacation, and i must say i was shirtless all day for 10 days.I was on the beach shirtless,on the boardwalk shirtless and by the pool shirtless, and what a tan i have now.I did not give it a second thought going shirtless and i even was getting some hot chicks checking me out untill they realized i was with my kids and wife.My family and friends who don't know i had the proedure done thought i looked great, they thought it was beause of all my working out.So nobody i think suspects that i had anything done. It's amazing how many people have gyn including my friends and other family members,if only they knew it can be corrected, maybe someday i'll tell them.

Braveboy sounds like you're finally happy with your results  ;D This summer it finally felt good to go shirtless at the beach and at pool party.  I'm still self conscious about the incision marks.  :-[  Maybe no one notices them, but I am paranoid because I know they're there.  Are your scars visible at all?  Aren't you worried about people noticing them?

I went to see Lista today, after seeing Fielding 3 months ago.  He had a letter from Fielding (from my visit with Fielding) saying he concurred that there was no gland remaining, and that if I wanted to be after 9 months (that would be December) re-evaluated by Fielding I could be.  Lista said he could not do any more for me, that my chest was in the realm of normal, that I did not have gyne anymore, but he acknowledged the areas of my concern.  He felt that if he did do another revision, he could likely cause more harm than good.  He says I have loose skin, and that I just still 'feel' like I have gyne when in fact I'm in the range of normal.  He said the only thing I can do is to build out my pecs to fill in the loose skin.  He said I was welcome to go back to Fielding, which of course I know I could, but I'm not bothering.  I told Lista I'm not happy, politely, and thats it.  I'm done.  Maybe I'll check in once in a while, offer advice, maybe not...I'm just not a satisfied customer of Dr. Lista.  Nice guy that he is, and all, but I'm just not happy with my apparent end result.

It's been a while since I checked the Lista boards.  Peter I'm sorry to heasr you're unhappy.  Hopefully the issue corrects itself over time.  Braveboy, great results.  I'm happy with my results.  Incision marks are there, I see them, but I'm not nervous about going shirtless anymore.  To me that is priceless.  My advice to anyone thinking about the surgery is it's hard to put a dollar value on something that bothers you every day.  It's some of the best money spent because it's for life.
