this is my case above. has anyone heard anything about dr. joseph a. starr ? i cudnt find anything on him on this forum, and not much on google. he said my surgery will be free, covered by ohip. im 20+
but he said he wont do lipo, my case isnt that bad he noted. guys take a look at pics n let me know if i have alot of fat or not?
he will take out gland, but not completely, he said its impossible to take everything out, he can only improve the look.if he takes all out  i will have cater,i suppose thts wat he meant. not sure though cuz he used hand gestures. didnt mention anything about post-op vest, maybe i wont need it. any ideas?
i scheduled surgery on mid april. i also booked appt wit dr. fielding in end or march, lets see wat he says. so im thinkin if its a good idea to go under knife free but no lipo. does anyone have any idea how its gonna look "less gland, no lipo"?

i would encourage you to check your options before going under the knife.

I'm no expert, but your gyne looks like there's some fat mixed in there as well which would need to be lipo'd out. Also, I would definitely look to go with someone who has alot of independently verifiable experience. Did this Dr. Starr have pre and post op pics of former patients to show you?

I first met with a Dr. Kaila.  I didn't have a good feeling coming out of his office.  I was under so much pressure I felt like I was at a used car dealership.

I have surgery scheduled with Dr. Lista, and he was able to show me a lot of pre/post-op pics.

sorry i wasnt in here for few days, nope this doctor didnt have any pics of pre-and after surgery.
and i didnt find nothing about him related to gyno, so im doubting right now to have srugery wit him.
yea i also feel i have fat tissue on my pecs that needs to go out.

If you are talking about Dr Starr on Sheppard, then you stole my mid April appointment:) i scheduled for a week later, but i also had trouble finding any feedback on him, which is rather suspicious, but he did say that he has done many. My appointment was very brief, I'm not sure if that a good or a bad thing... either way i found this link, which made me worried http://www.ratemds.com/doctor-ratings/64739/ON/Toronto/Starr, it does not look good, but there is no contact info, so I'm not sure if they are talking about the same doctor. please let me know if you get any info on him, since I'm also 20 and also getting a reduction, but I'm a girl and my boobies are rather precious to me:) At first I didn't bother researching since my family doctor recommended him and his office is in a hospital, so it all looks and sounds legit, but I'm wondering if that's not a wise thought.  Thanks, Kat

thanks for this link Kat, wel this made me realize i was right not to go with him. im gonna cancel my surgery for sure.
i didnt look for any more info on him, and i suggest u cancel ur surgery too.
damn those reviews are sad.
