Both Jake and yourself are helping me massively, I go out in a couple of months as you probably know and you are helping me and others in the same way by sharing your experience and for that I'm thankful.

Would like to say thanks to Danny and Jake, if I hadn't been in email contact with you both I doubt I would of made the decision to come to Poland, you helped me make my mind up and both of your threads have been invaluable for me so thank you both.

Mart.

Glad to be of service thats why were all on here to help one another to get through this sh!t and looks like we have all nearly achieved soo.
I no the clinic are trying to get someone over here in the UK to help people like us with all details e.c.t. so this will make it even easier for future gyno cursed people wanting to get it cheaper.

Although i say cheaper.. yes it is cheaper in cost, BUT! The experience itself from the clinic is nothing ''cheap'' its all 5*** service throughout and the after care continues even when you get home for example i can call the clinic anytime and speak to the surgeon about any question's i may have. Also they do stuff the UK Surgery's dont such as ultrasound and a Histopathological which is the following:

Histopathological refers to the microscopic examination of tissue in order to study the manifestations of disease. Specifically, in clinical medicine, histopathology refers to the examination of a biopsy or surgical specimen by a pathologist, after the specimen has been processed and histological sections have been placed onto glass slides. In contrast, cytopathology examines free cells or tissue fragments.

So they check each gland for disease cancer e.c.t.. which is very good.

I would strongly argue that this Polish clinic puts any UK surgeon to shame? what do you think mart?
The only fault i found with the surgeon was that she isnt based in the UK, but i dont mind poland i could sit there and eat ice creams all day and talk to the hot polish women.

Totally agree with you about the clinic Jake. Can't fault anything with it or the surgeon at all. Jeremy said they were looking for a British agent in the UK who had experienced surgery with them as now most of the patients come from the UK.
Going to have breakfast now then off to the clinic to have my drains out, once finished ill head up to the galxy for the day and sample some of that ice cream you mentioned.

Had the drains removed this morning, didn't hurt at all. The left side of my chest had blood build up, Katarzyna massaged the blood out again, i'm not gonna lie it's quite painful when she does this. The left side of my chest was also quite red, Katarzyna prescribe me some more antibiotics and told me to double the dose just to be safe although she did say there's nithing to worry about. She said my left gland was very thick and the tail of the gland had curled under my pectoral muscle, she said she had never seen that before but she said it will heal fine and not to worry. One thing about Katarzyna is she is very honest and to the point, if she thinks something is not right she will tell you, I'm not too worried about the left side, she said she I'm healing very well and she doesn't need to see me again till monday. She said in the meantime if I have any concerns or am worried about anything then to phone her and she will see me immediately at anytime which was very reassuring.
I am able to have a shower today so will take more pics. I'm due to start light massage on sunday. I left the clinic and got some more antibioticd from the chemist along with a load of jelonet and bandages. It's a nice day so I walked back to the hotel, it's about a 20 minute walk and it's only 2 straight roads so very easy to find your way back. It's red hot today and I'm in shorts and t shirt but all the locals are wearing hoodys and coats lol. Katarzyna did say it gets very hot in Poland in summer so today must feel cold to them. Only about 3 people out of thousands were wearing t shirts etc.

I dropped my stuff off back at my hotel and headed to the galaxy ahopping centre, again I walked there, took about 15 mins or so. Jake you are right about the ice cream it's beautiful I had one from every stand and all I can say noe is that I feel very sick lol. You must sample the ice cream while out here. The galaxy shopping centre is quite big with lots of shops, lots of places to eat like kfc pizza hut, lots of ice cream stands and coffee shops. At the top is where the cinema is, its english films with Polish subtitles. I will probably go and watch a film tomorrow to pass some time. I could spend all day in the galaxy eating ice cream and looking at the women haha.
Had breakfast in the hotel for the first time this morning, wasn't impressed really it was scrambled egg with ham in, a plate of different cheeses and hams and some salad, about 5 bread rolls with butter,  a cup of tea and an orange juice. Tomorrow and the rest of my stay I think i'll just be having scrambled egg. This hotel is ok it has a sauna etc but my advice is to stay elsewhere. The other hotels are cheaper, I paid almost double what Jake did!
Probably just relax for the rest of the night now and have a good shower and take a few pics.
Will give another update soon.

Good to hear all is well, When she massages out the blood it is the wierdest feeling ever lol just to see the blood spraying out of your chest haha not sure why i watched should of turnt away but wanted to get my moneys worth lol.

The breakfast in my hotel was sh!t too mart and expensive so i mostly stuck with subway for breakfast. Although i cant knock my hotel for the price.

I started massaging a few day's post op and had to stop because i got really hot for some reason like i was going to pass out not sure why, i personally would say leave massaging for a week or 2 i have done alot and i mean alot of reasearch into scar tissue and massaging it and i havent seen any proof that massaging it earlier the 2-3 weeks has done any help if anythink its done more harm to the tissue trying to heal itself underneath. Thinking of it i actually havent seen any proof at all that massaging actually helps. Maybe the vit c or whatever it is people massage in helps a little tiny bit but i believe in my own opinion that massaging doesnt really help i think its down to the body to do its own thing. saying that im going to give it a go for a few weeks to see if i can see any diffrence.

The icecream is the nuts, i had so many you have to sit down though and have a massive glass or plate full of all diffrent stuff.

How the vest mart? would like to know ure opion on it?

Get some pictures up..

Take care.

Hi Jake

I know what you mean about the massaging, I too feel that before 2-3 weeks is way too early to be massaging, Katarzyna said the main reason she advises gentle massage on the nipple is to prevent it sticking to the muscle etc. I will be doing about 3 mins every other day and very lightly just to keep the nipple off the muscle. Mate when she massages the blood out it's agony lol, it's a weird feeling but quite painful, for me anyway.
The vest is very tight mate it's quite uncomfortable, and it does get very itchy in the heat. It's visible under clothing also but it does do a good job compressing the chest. I will probably only wear this while in Poland then change to my underworks vest when back in the UK, I will probably wear this one during a night time. Had the vest off for an hour though just it felt great tried a few t shirts on and it was strange not seeing the gyne poking through, man what an amazing feeling :D

Just had a shower, it was heaven lol. Tried to clean my chest up as best I could but it's still quite sore and I didn't want aggravate any swelling etc so just gave it a light clean. Got slight blood/fluid build up on left hand side, could even be swelling? It's make my left nipple a bit puffy looking at the moment but not too concerned as it will sort itself out. Will check with Katarzyna on monday to be sure. Already though the redness has gone down after she massaged the blood out earlier and I took double the dose on the antibiotics, looking loads better already.
Tbh if my chest stayed how it is now, with the slight swelling etc I would still be extremely happy. It's a million zillion times better than what it was. the pre-op pics I posted really don't show how bad my gyne was, I had proper titties lol, female looking nipples and everyrthing, will see if I have some photos on my camera of the worst pics. I have to tell you the transformation from that to how my chest is now is just amazing. It just shows how bad my gyne was with how big the lumps were, 9cm x 8cm is pretty big, no wonder when I got leaner in the gym it was more visible, I thought I had more fat and less gland but infact I had more gland and less fat.

I managed to get the vest back on myself and nice and tight too, its pretty easy really I just lie it on the bed then lie on it and wrap it round me. I feel so much better now I have had the drains out, my movement is a lot better and I feel more comfortable. It's an uncomfortable experience with those in don't you think Jake?
It's only 7pm and I'm already tired I haven't been sleeping well with the drains in so hoping for a better nights sleep tonight.
Have took some more pics on my phone don't know how to upload them? Will upload them onto pc when I get home then upload them onto here, they will be up wednesday night.
Haven't seen any English people in my hotel yet, was hoping there would be some to hang out with lol. 3 and a half days left here in Poland.

Update again soon.

Day 3 post op: Had a better nights sleep last night with the drains removed. Not used to lying on my back though can't wait till I can lie on my side again. Can you have the compression vest too tight? Felt a bit uncomfortable last night as if it was too tight. Gets very hot in the hotel woke up sweating this morning and itching underneath the vest. Not sure if I wanna bother with the breakfast at the hotel this morning or just get one out somewhere.
Just about to take my antibiotics and have a shower, will see if any more blood/fluid/swelling has come during the night. Tbh I feel ready to go home now, a week is a very long time over here especially if you're on your own, a laptop with dvd's is absolutely essential I am suffering with boredom terribly for not bringing one. I strongly advise people to bring one.
Back is really aching from sleeping uncomfortably. There's a lidl nearby somewhere, might try and find that today and stock up on food and drink instead of keep raiding the minibar, it's costing me a fortune lol.

Update soon.

Just had a shower and had a good look at my chest. The right side seems to be healing very well only slight bruising and swelling. The left side has gone all red again though it seems to be slightly infected, have upped the dose of antibiotics like Katarzyna advised so hoping they will kick in shortly and sort it out. I fasten the compression vest over my left chest and it feels like its tighter that side than on the right, I'm sure this is causing my left side to swell up more so today I am having the vest on a bit looser to see if that helps.
If it still red tomorrow i'll give Katarzyna a ring and see what she advises, was gonna ring her today but i'll let the antibiotics kick in properly first and give them a chance to work their magic. Had a little bit of feel around my chest and it made me feel hot, faint and sick lol. Not looking forward to the massaging if that is gonna do the same.
Off for breakfast now and a walk around to get the blood flowing as this can only help surely.

Update again soon.

Had breakfast in the restaurant this morning (yesterday I had room service as I had those drains in), they had more choice like cereals and fruit which was better but still would just prefer a full english or at least some sausage and bacon. Been out for a couple of hours around the town and galaxy again, getting quite bored here now tbh. It's very hot today and under the vest I've been itchin like crazy, especially by the nipples don't know if this a good sign? Usually itching wounds shows they are healing I believe.
Chilling in the hotel for a bit now before I go out for some tea later and hopefully catch the football on tv somewhere. What did you do to pass time while you were out here Jake? I wouldn't be doing much if I was at home but at least I could watch some decent tv.

Went back to the galaxy and had a kfc and some ice cream, they understand English a lot better in there. Back in my hotel room now I'm just resting on the bed with my vest off it's been hard work wearing that today cuz it's been red hot here. I must say it feels good to have the vest off, definitely think iv'e been wearing it too tight, gonna wear a bit loose the next couple of days. The redness on the left of my chest hasn't got any worse but it hasn't improved yet either. Gotta ring Katarzyna tomorrow to arrange a time to go to the clinic Monday so will ask her advice then, she may decide to see me sooner. Also looks like the swelling has started now.
It's a long road to recovery so be prepared for the ups and downs but don't get disheartend and patience is the key.
Watching the football now it's on at the hotel so I'll probably just chill for the night now.

Glad they are helping mate.
Yes definitley make sure you put a lot of films, shows on so you don't get bored. The tv channels at the hotel are mainly all Polish, they do have English football on though just with Polish commentary. They also have music channels on but some songs are English and some are Polish. Last night I watched a Polish pop idol type show, it was all in Polish but they sang all the songs English? Lol. Kept me entertained anyway.
