Cheers Jake   ;D

Yeah I'm delighted with how it looks now it's a massive improvement. It looks much better in real life too.
Had a lot of swelling the first week but it's starting to go down now so I'm just waiting for the scar tissue to kick in lol. Ive been trying on all my t shirts and even with the swelling and puffing nipples you can't see it even in the tightest of t shirts :D

Getting stitches taken out tomorrow so will take new photos then.
Had a look at your pics Jake you have healed very nicely indeed mate you look great.
Thanks for the kind words mate.

Mart.

Got my stitches removed today at an NHS walk in centre near me. The nurse was absolutely brilliant, she said she had a similar op herself, I'm guessing a breast reduction or similar. She had a good chat with me about swelling, bruising, scar tissue etc. She gave my chest a good check over and had a good feel of the swelling, she said it's not a hematoma or seroma and just swelling and bruising and assured me it will all go down in time and it's healing nicely. She said there's nothing to worry about. She said the stitching wad very neat and small and will leave minimal scarring. She also advised the use of bio oil on the scars and said if I have any problems arise then not to hesitate in coming back to get it checked out which is very nice. I asked her if it needed draining at all and after having a good examination of it she said no, so I'm happy it's just swelling now. Very happy to have the stitched out and couldn't of wished for a better nurse to remove them either.

Will get some pics up soon.

How was it getting the stitches removed? My nurse cut me to piece's with the knife lol,
Thats the best thing they do is the reasurance that everythings ok i bet it put your mind at ease abit?
I recently have been massaging my chest (welll my GF has been doing it for me :D ) and i have seen abit of improvement from it already i would recommend massaging mate but as from when we spoke about massaging i still think post op - week 2/3 is too soon.

Get some pictures up.

The nurse was great mate she got them out quite easy, no pain or anything.
I'll be 2 weeks post op on Wednesday and tbh I thinlk I'm ready to start massaging now, my chest isn't tender or sore anymore. I've had a fair bit of scar tissue build up aswell now on both sides.
It's not the nicest thing but I thought I would get a fair bit tbh. With massage it will all go down so not to worry too much.

Pics to come.

Looks good mate! Congratulations. Considering -- as an option for myself now, given the much lower cost compared to the UK + it seem some good results are coming from them! Look forward to seeing updated pics as you heal!

Hi wantridofgyno17

If you are thinking about surgery then I would give them serious consideration, my chest has changed completely. I had female like breasts and now I have a proper mans chest. If you need any information mate or have any questions just ask.

2 weeks post op today, swelling has gone down a little on left side. Got scar tissue building up now though it's quite hard tissue i guess i'll need to start massaging it soon. The arnica cream has worked wonders getting rid of the bruising, only minimal bruising now and that will be gone very soon. I'm wearing my underworks compression vest during the day and the binder from the clinic of a night time. I think it has helped with the swelling tbh. Not wearing the jelonets or bandages anymore though. My areola/nipples seem a lot smaller than pre op so i'm happy with that.

Pics to follow shortly.

Pleased to hear all is going well Mart. I have a question for you and Jake I'm not sure if I need to buy an additional compression garment?

Did you fly back in a less noticeable compression vest? Also do you have any idea what is the best one to get to replace or for after the one you get given?

I was hopefully going to wear the one they give you till I get stitches out then move on to something else less intrusive?

Also have you started massaging regularly yet Mart? If so hows that going?

Sorry for all the q's.

Thanks

Glad everything's going well mate remember more pictures :D

You dont need to buy and additional compression garment. They do give you one.

Dont worry about flying with the vest on. They will more then likly pat you down anyway as i believe they do this to everyone out there.

The one i was given done it job very well all though i believe i did never need to were one for swelling because i didnt have any.

I Know Mart purchased a seprate Compresion vest so if you did want another one he can direct you to which one he bought.

Hope this helps.

Mart Arnica cream did wonders for me too but it kind of makes me think would of the bruises have gone by themselves in the same amount of time?

Nufc: I bought an underworks compression vest off amazon for £23, i'm a size large in t shirts so i just got a medium, it fits nice it's not uncomfortable and it's not noticable under clothing. I took this with me to Poland also and i wore it for the journey home as i was a bit worried about the Germans with the slight trouble i had on the way there. However they didn't pat me down or anything and it was no bother going through with my medication so don't worry about it mate. Haven't started massaging yet, still got slight swelling but scar tissue is starting to build up now so will start the massaging over the weekend for sure. It's kind of like having the glands back under your nipples, nowhere near as big though and it will all go in time, just part of the recovery.

Jake: Not sure how long bruising takes naturally to go, as soon as i started using the arnica cream the bruising rapidly went away so it must be doing something. Not wearing the jelonets or bandages anymore so it's just the compression vest from now on.

Pics to follow.
