Ive been swimming twice this week and wasnt even concious about my chest as it "used" to be a problem and now its something that is sorted.
Im happy 1000% happy and have to say that poland surgery isnt just a life changing expierience but is also a holiday :)

Just back mate and found it exactly as you said.

Thanks for sharing your experiences as it helped make my mind up.  anyone who has any concerns over going abroad for this....Dont worry. The whole process was a piece of p***.

Paid 1750 Euro as at last week.

Are you in pain? how was it trvalling back on a plane? Can you carry stuff?  How is the swelling, bruising bandages etc..

Please try to give us a full details analysis.

Anyone else gone there recently for surgery?

Johno- did you go alone or with anyone else? Did you meet anyone there from UK? How did you pass your time.. Any tips/suggestions.

Thanks.

Went on my own mate.  In absolutely no pain at all.
I have two big plasters, one on each side and still have my stiches in. Then a compression vest.

For me passing the time was the hardest thing, though this would have been the same if I'd had it done in this country.  Just take a couple of good books.

Full details in other poland thread.

Mate, if it weren't for the info gathered mainly from here, I probably wouldn't have had it done(certainly not yet).

The one big worry for going abroad is the horror stories you hear about botched operations abroad. By detailing exactly what was involved it takes that worry away. I, in turn will stick around on the board to answer any qus/ pass on my experiences to help anyone else who's currently unsure.

I think it's only right to give a bit back.

Thanks again. You and Mark were instrumental in my decision.
John

Thanks mate.

Another question - Are the plasters noticible under a shirt?  This is because I don't want my family to know I'm having the operation.  I've kept my gyne a secret so far.  I travel occasionally cause of my job (specially to germany). So no one will be suspicious at all if I say I'm going for another few days.  But please let me know if I can get away with it r plasters are too big.  Also, how do you shower?

How is the swelling & bruising imporivng now?  Can you put up a photo mate?

Thanks a million.
