I'm looking forward to my surgery and recovery process.I kinda forget what the Doc told me about the aftermath. I'll be bandaged up post op I know. When do I transition into compression undergarment? Are these noticeable under a heavy T-shirt.I'm heading back to work a week after. Will anybody notice compression vest/garment? Is it just like an Under-Armour shirt? Any help would be appreciated!

the compression vest most likely will not be noticed under your clothes. Worst case scenario you can layer shirts because the vest typically has two thick velcro straps in the top of the shoulders. The vest is aloy more durable then under armour. After awhile it sucks but you soon get used to it. Good luck and congrats!

No one will notice. I actually got so used to my vest that I enjoyed it. I used it for about 3 months afterwords when I worked out or jogged.

i would not go to the thing. chances are you will still have drains in which cause discomfort and could lead to potential embarrassment (smelling like blood, blood stains). a week later would probably be fine but 3 days after surgery is probably too soon.
