Hmmm… I didn’t expect these results prominent in the report of a recent CT scan of my chest:  “bilateral gynecomastia”.  I guess the scan can pickup the actual breast tissue growth?  To see this in official results was disturbing, although something I’ve known about for several years.

Fortunately the heart issue (the point of the scan) was nonexistent!

Has anyone else received a gynecomastia confirmation from a CT (CAT) scan?

Yes from an MRI and a 4 D CT scan
of a parathyroid
Both noted the gynecomastia
and resulting in a mammogram that used
 the term ‘ florid’

Yes. I have periodic PET scans and a couple have noted "mild bilateral gynecomastia".  Interesting that they noted that.

I have been getting mammograms since surviving  breast cancer in 1989.

Thankfully the results have been coming back negative of abnormalities except the periodic notations of 'increased gynecomastia' (boob growth).

A scan of my chest area years ago also picked things up and was noted. Of course I'm quite 'obvious' without the fancy equipment. 🤭
