Do any of you have days where you think its worse than others?

I have minor gyne and am due to have a consultation on Friday.  Some days I feel like I have DDs stuck on to my chest and want to wear about 10 layers to hide it, some days I feel like I have nothing and have no problem running around with my chest pushed out.

I just hate it - the way they wobble, the way they stick out.  Some days feel 100x worse than others.

The same thing happens to me just about all the time.  Though I think it's usually psychological, I believe my breasts occasionally grow and shrink physically.

All the time, some days I stare in the mirror and imagine what it would be like without "g". And some days it dont even think about it. My gynecomastia has gotten bigger since i started working out and doing chest exercises but I just stopped working out on my chest until i get the surgery.

Yea think most of everybody on here has felt that way man!  At one point i didn't even think they were there.  I had way more bad days than good though.

A person starts to be very self aware and modest in childhood. By the age of five or so a child can be quite modest even shy. We retain this to some extent throughout our lives but it does diminish over time. There will always be some days when these feelings seem to be more dominant than others. To a certain extent, these feelings are normal but obviously they can be carried to an to extreem.

I do not think that our condition really changes significantly one way or another in the matter of mere days. I agree that it does seem that there has been change but I think it is just the degree of our awareness that has changed.

I also stop working out my chest because it just became bigger.. although it's hard to touch but the nipple was still soft and the chest muscles pushes the gland more so my nipple became more noticeable with a shirt on.. damn! We all wish living without gyne, this condition really sucks!!!!!!

  • It's time to spread the word about Gynecomastia
Working out will not help....trust me when I say this. Sadly, surgery is the only option as far as getting rid of gynecomastia forever. Compression shirts work well for short-term use, but they are very uncomfortable.

I always think my chest looks bigger after eating a big meal (which I'm pretty sure isn't true) so before going to the beach / swimming I always try to go to the bathroom before. :/

my gyne tends to be worse if i eat loads of rubbish or drink on a weekend.

i also think getting the right amount of sleep also helps. also do not eat a big meal before goin to bed or having a nap.

but like one other member says the only true way is surgery and i cant wait tog get rid.

i think at different times in the day mine change for instance at night where im posting now my nipples are pretty much inverted and the shape of the gland is almost sharp at the nipple making it look alot like a breast whereas when i wake up my nipples are perfect and from where i look down they look like pretty good pecs the shape of the nipple is more normal dont get me wrong the glands still there its just a different shape im quite intrigued into what the reasoning behind this is

That's with everybody though.  Idk about you but I sleep with my fan on and when I wake up my nipples are on hard also so that's the reason for that i believe.   But when you been up for awhile and stuff you body is use to the temp. in the room or where ever you are so you have the puffy nipples then.  That's my explanation for it lol....

Having given this some thought since my first answer; There is something obvious that I overlooked that may cause a slight difference depending upon the time of day.

Some of us rise in the morning to have puffy eyes and end the day with swollen feet. Actually if you have this problem you should probably be seeing your Doctor as it could indicate a problem. But, the same situation may cause you to have a bit more fullness in the chest area in the early hours of the day.

How does this work? Fluids and gravity.  Yes it really could be that simple.

Lying down all night, the fluids in the body distribute accordingly and we wake with puffy eyelids and perhaps puffy breasts as well. After a long day upright,  a lot of those same fluids are in our feet and legs.

This could be a harmless thing, but that kind of fluid retention may indicate a problem that needs to be treated so it would be wise to see a Doctor.

I never wake up with puffy anything.  Maybe a smushed face lol but that's from laying on my damn face all night haha...
