How do I get one?

Do I have to be referred by my GP?

Is having small testicles a sign of Hypogonadism? Would testosterone levels be low with small testicles?

I located an Endo Doc 5 min. from my house... Awesome!
I'm going to call on Friday to arrange and appointment. I really would like to know how my testosterone/estrogen levels are. I'd make a bet on low testeosterone and high estrogen. We'll see....

John make sure to use one of the endos who specializes in reproductive endocrinology.

If you have any more questions concerning your appointment, I'm sure someone here can answer them.  I've gone to an endo and can relate to you what to expect.

Probably the first things to have checked are:

Testosterone Serum
Estradiol
LH
FSH
SHBG
Prolactin

as well as a few more to rule out liver or thyroid problem.  The endo will know, but I must say that you should try to get an endo on your insurance network because these tests are expensive.  My endo isn't on my network, but she charges me minimal amounts for appointments (but I had all the lab work done myself, out of my own pocket - $500 or so).

Small testicles can be a sign of low testosterone via testicular failure of which there are a number of causes.

It depends how small.

Teticles can be relatively small in some men whithout being an issue, as this can be due to genetics.

It is something that an endocrinologists would note during an examination and would take into account along with a medical history, symptoms and blood results.

Just to say that Nukem is perfectly right, it is best to ensure that you select an endocrinologists who has an interest in reproductive endocrinology.

I know some of the other possible symptoms of hypogonadism can be:

1 muscle loss
2 decreased beard and body hair.

Yes, Yes, Yes.  It is important to see an endocrinologist who knows reproductive issues.  

You want to know if you have hormone problem that can be treated. If so, it's possibe that you can avoid surgery.  

If you do have the surgery, the endocrinologist will help you prevent the gyne from coming back.  

Endocrinologist's are specialists in gynecomastia.  Plastic surgeons are specialists in gynecomastia removal (Hypo 2004,2005). <---- I don't want to be accused of plagiarism.
