  • 31 Year Gynecomastia Victim...
From what I have read on this Site over the past year, and from what my PS has told me, most Gyne sufferers are approx 6 feet tall. I am just curious as to at what age or over what time period, did everyone reach their max height. I was fairly short in my early teens. I grew tall later in my teens and farily quickly. I went from about 5'4" to 6' at age 16 to 18. My brother on the other hand put on height in his early teens.

At what age were you when you reached your max height? Did it take several years or only a few to reach that height?

TIA!

John.

I was pretty short up until I was about 14, going on 15. About 5'3", then all of a sudden grew to 6' in about half a year, maybe a little more. Everyone thought I was gonna end up at like 7' because of that rate  ;)
Life would be fine if it wasn't for gyne...

maybe the quick development kinda throws everything out of whack?

Did you grow rapidly or over a number of years?

My growth was pretty steady, I did start puberty early though, around 10 or 11 yrs old.

Ya, I agree with you guys. Also, when I was shorter my gyne was worse because it looked larger in proportion overall to my body. But, when I reached my final height of 5'10" it slimmed out a bit and looked smaller. But, I also did a lot of weight lifting and cardio in effort to rid it. I also remember this kid back in 7th grade who had a fairly moderate case of gyne and when I saw him about 2 years ago in 10th grade he was almost like a foot taller about 6'5" and didn't have any gyne anymore. I don't see that many tall people with gyne. I see a lot of really tall skinny people. Anyways just stating an opinion of what I have seen.

Very interesting, I was 4'11 (!!) at 15 yrs old and by 18 I was 6'1.  It seems there is some connection here. The quick development would indicate hormones going out of whack so that could be it.
