Gyno pain after 6 years

Did anyone else get surgery after their gyno was still hurting and very slowly getting worse?

I have a huge lump under my left nip and it hurts whenever I touch it. I feel a dull ache most days here and there and I notice every few months it is slightly bigger.

Will gyno surgery help? My right nip gyno is a much, much smaller lump and doesn't hurt if I touch it.

I feel like because the gland is active that it is growing just from day to day abrasion from general activity... if I get it cut out, nothing will be there to stimulate and hence it won't grow back? Is this possible?
