I think Bermant is well worth the price. He is undoubtedly one of the best. Charging an extra $1000-2000 or so more than the average PS is no big deal...look at the price difference between a Ford and a Jaguar. $2000 over your lifetime is nothing.

An idea for those of you who need money but can't get a credit card or can't follow other options...get a checking account and go get payday loans from every place in town...and also on the internet (there are a number available). You shoudl be able to get $2000-3000 doing this...though it will obviously screw up your credit. But...you do what you have to do to combat gyne, right? It is NOT check fraud to go delinquent on any post-dated cheque....which includes these...so there woudl be NO legal consequences...only your credit rating would be affected. I know this does not apply to most of you, but it might help one or two guys who have no other options.

You chose to go all that way to see him; he never forced you to go all that way.

So you lost a summer--big deal! Most of us have lost at least a decade of our lives--some far more than that.

Plastic surgery is always a risk--it is not supposed to make you look like a Greek god--it is just supposed to make you look better. That's a risk you take that you might not come out of surgery as a Greek god. A surgeon does not owe you a free revision if it does not come out perfect. Some may do this, but most do not. They have to pay for other staff...and other associated fees as well as their time. What about burn victims who require multiple plastic surgeries...do you think the doctor does each one after the first for free? It is totally unreasonable for you to expect him to give a free surgery for revision...especially so soon after it happened. You said you went to Silverman one month post op--you didn't even give it time to recover, heal, etc.--it could have looked much better after recovery.

Dr. Bermant has probably done hundreds, maybe thousands, of gyne surgeries. A few less than perfect cases are boudn to happen statistically...nobody's perfect. Statistically speaking, the seven cases you claim to know about are very insubstantial given all that he is done. From his reputation, it certainly seems that he is one of the best, and it would be incredibly naive to judge him based on the complaint of one disgruntled former patient. His before/after pics speak for themselves.

im totally dissapointed to read this, i thought 2800 was an achievable amount for me to save, but i havent seen anybody charged that amount, always prices are upwards of 5000, i would love to know how much an average patient pays.

Vaio had his done for $2800. Look for a post of his, his PS is listed in his sig.

thanks for that, if im viewing the pictures correct then i  agree that at 2 months your results were poor, and obviously worse at 9 months although as you say this is due to your extra body fat %. Please post your pics from your show. What body fat % will you be competing at? I will be posting my pics soon (my gyno is developed this year after hairloss meds). I would appreciate it if you stick around and comment on mine.

thanks for your help.

This is absolutely TERRIBLE advice and I advise you don't screw yourselves so hard.
Trashed credit wil haunt you for just over 7 years. You WILL regret it.

Go wash cars, mow lawns, do something honest to earn the money.

For Pete's sake... go rip your clothes, don't shave, and muddy yourself up and go beg by the freeway off-ramp.

How the hell did that regrowth happen!? Your chest was definitely flat after surgery, and he removed the gland. I don't get it.
etc.

Did Bermant just not do sufficient lipo then? Or did he leave too much gland in?

Free or not free, a revision is a pain in the butt to have to go through. Just when you're all healed up and should be resuming your life, you find out you have to go through the whole thing again.
I'm there myself, and am not sure if I'm going to have a revision, or just live with my less-than-perfect results.
Another surgery means more scarring, time off work, healing, etc.

But, if a doctor messes up he should do the revision for free. At least give the patient the option of taking the offer.
