It's like he's a celebrity. ;D

I thought I was his only supporter.  I was wrong.

Count me on the side with Hypo,

I do not check in here with the frequency that I once did myself.

Truly it is tiring to keep responding to the same Questions again and again.

As to the lack of references to Endocrinologists,  I personally would favor a set of standards with regard to the surgical treatment of Gynecomastia.  These standards would establish that the person see both an Endocrinologist and a Psychologist before consulting a Surgeon.  There needs to be something similar to the Tanner scale that would identify both the degree and quantity of growth in the breasts.   Such a set of standards would hopefully clearly distinguish between the person who truly needs surgery and the Body Dysmorphic person who needs psychological help.

In the case of a person who would really benefit from the surgery, The standards would expedite coverage under medical Insurance while curtailing cost of coverage by placing those who are truly looking for only cosmetic effect on a straight cash basis.

My suggestion is sure to recieve mixed responses.  For the unfortunate lad who has developed real breasts, This would be great.  The young men who merely have some slightly puffy nipples would probably wish I'd fall off the Earth.

A to B cup breasts in men and D to H cup breasts in the women are normal in my family.
