I have had puffy nipples since puberty I am 30 now. I went to see a general doctor and he told me that I have pseudogynecomastia which he says is only fat and no gland that I dont have gyno because he felt nothing under the nipple after he examined it by pressing it with his fingers, so to make sure that there was no gland he made me take a sonogram, when the results came in he told me that there was no signs of gland. So what I want to know is can I just have liposuction to take care of this problem or would I have to do incision with the lipo?? Also my nipples are like the size of a quarter, will they shrink in size after the surgery??

In my experience, puffy nipples are caused by excess tissue concentrated beneath the areola, which thereby pushes it out.  For the most part, I have been unable to treat puffy nipples with lipo alone -- even with my sharp cannula.  It usually requires direct excision of the tissue as well.

BTW, it doesn't matter if the tissue feels hard or soft, the treatment would be the same.

And yes, when lipo and or excision is performed, the diameter of the areola usually spontaneous shrinks by itself.
