Length of actual nipple after surgery

Hello,

I am 2 weeks post-op and the surgery went great - just your standard swelling/scar-tissue now... Just one thing has been bothering me. My nipples stick out maybe 0.4 cm from my aerola (the actual nipple, meaning the thing in the center)  and a bit more when they get hard. Will this be reduced in a few months after I have healed? I can see them through shirts. Who knows I may just be paranoid and this is normal on males...

I think males have all dif types of nipples.lol
when I had gyne "five weeks ago" mine were filled up and bloated looking.
Mine look like yours now. Flat with the valcano'e center poking out.haha.

Idk if it will ever be perfectly flat but it beats the hell out of what I was dealing with. My doc said once he treats the scars with steroids or whatever they'll settle down more.

If your nipples were normal size prior to surgery, then they may be swollen now and should go back to their original state after the swelling subsides.  No gyne surgery actually increases the size of the nipples.

On the other hand, you may be micro-scrutinizing your results and noticing some things that were always there but you never noticed before.

Is it normal/look okay though of you just me on the beach or something. I realize I am just scrutinizing myself, but I've never noticed on other guys the middle thing, it always seems flush with the aerola...
