Firstly, welcome!

Next, I’m sure what’s been happening is a lot to process. In terms of coping, you can relax that while your chest may look huge to you, it really won’t be very noticeable to others. I know that probably seems hard to believe right now, but it’s something like 70% over 60 have gynecomastia, so its not that far out of place. And probably seems counterintuitive, but bra or minimizer will actually help you look better and like moe fit than average.  While I’ve long had moobs, they have gradually gotten bigger, but now in DD territory its still not at all obvious with the right support. I do avoid light colors and clingy shirts.

That said, you are doing the right thing to see a endo and get a work up. I would look at meds and supplements as a change or increase in some can have an immediate effect. Otherwise something is causing a change in your hormone levels, and some can be be serious.  Good luck and good health!

Thank you for the info and your support. I'm hoping to get into see an Endocrinologist soon. My regular doctor told me my condition is idiopathic. I just don't buy all that. It has to come from some ware? I am still at a point ware I can keep my boobs pretty well consealed. Hope they stabilize soon. Still quiet a bit tender. I'm not getting as much projection at the moment. But I'm starting to fill out more now.

To onset so quickly, I agree you are right to not accept that. Something is at cause and needs to be investigated, as gynecomastia can be a manifestation of a myriad of underlying health issues. Most common cause is age related change in hormone levels (even within ‘normal’ levels) but that’s also typically very gradual. Could be a delayed side effect to a med - sometimes it won’t present for two years or more, and then it kicks in. Certainly want to rule out serious possible causes (just a few examples) like a tumor, liver or kidney conditions, testicular decline, cancers, etc., where time matters, so I would push strongly on your regular doctor or get a new one. If you’re considering surgery for gynecomastia, cause must be addressed first.

Many of us are glad to help with the coping/living with it, glad to write more on that, regardless of cause or while it is being determined.

Yes. And thank you for your support. I'm working on getting in to see an Endo. I want to be deeper evaluated. All the blood work tests I had done related to gyno came back good. All in range fo me at my age. 64. My condition was labeled idiopathic. I haven't been on any meds in the past.I take supplements. There are so many causes related to the onset of Gynecomastia.
 We will see what a Endo has to say when ever I can get in.

As far as AI goes I have found way better results from doctronic.ai than from other AI iterations.

Thanks dude and bob. These can be good revinues to go down. There can be so many things causing my gyno. Though my hormone levels are in range for my age. And liver and kidney function is good. So there's some other underlying cause behind it. Thanks for reaching out with your info and support.
