is this normal

ive had what i belive to be gynecomastia for about two years now, its very annoying as you al know, and im 15, it started about 13, please let me know.

Believe it or not, you are much more normal than you think.

Gynecomastia is very common in young men going through puberty.  (Like the teens are not hard enough without this too!)  The good news is that most young men have the condition resolve or simply go away without any treatment.  

At your age, there is a very great liklihood that it will go away with no treatment.

Sometimes, the condition has a strong family connection.  This means that you will probably have similar results to those of your father, uncles and grandfathers.  If they had it in their youth and it went away, it should for you too.

Gynecomastia is usually harmless (though embarassing) but it can, in rare instances, be a sign of serious problems.  

Hopefully you have a parent that you can talk to in private to find out if there is a family history of the condition and get you an appointment with a Doctor to look into the issue and make sure that everything is OK in your general health.
