I'm exactly 8 weeks post op and am worried about a little bit of puffiness. As far as I can remember my nips were normal post op, and then began to swell up a little bit. The best way I can describe it is more scar tissue in the left nip which looks normal, and just a little "razor" ridge around my nip in my right. My right nip still puffs out a little bit and folds over the scar tissue when I flex it. Does this seem normal? My doctor claims it is simply scar tissue.

Yes, it does sound like scar tissue.

Don't be impatient -- this is the time of maximum scar tissue -- it will slowly subside and soften.  Be patient.  Allow the doctor to re-assure you.  Worse case scenario, after several more months, if there is still some scar tissue there, your surgeon should be able to deal with it with a cortisone injection.
