Did you have surgery, after months of going back and forth go doctors offices I can finally schedule my consultation, how long was your wait after your first consultation and having surgery scheduled? I'm hoping I can use a civilian doctor as this might go smoother

Not long. I was quoted for 3 weeks waiting period with one doc, and 4 with another.
