Hello every one Jonathan here age 20 , I posted few days ago about my gynecomastia and I am very thankful to members who replied me and encouraged me to seek medical help , however I went to my family physician who has good hands in such diseases , he tested like a professional do and in less than a minute he said I can't find any lump, but I am obviously worried , here are couple of pics in which I have marked the place where I am having something like smooth mass but not ball , yes it slips beneath my fingers, the mass is coming from outwards to inside nipple and is movable like jelly , is it due to gyne or it is lump . my question is basically that what is physical difference between a lump and fat mass ?

Everyone is born with breast tissue, both male and female! what you are probably feeling is breast tissue. at different stages in are live we can develop more tissue. Sometimes it will just go away and other time it will not and that may be the case is you have just a little bit more, as it doesn't look bad. That would explain why the doctor said you don't have a lump, you just have normal breast tissue.

I'm just guessing, as I'm not a doctor, so take my advice for what it's worth, that's a almost 59 year old grandfather with 46H size breast and a life time of dealing with breasts!

Thanks alot for your reply , yes I read your all posts/reply on different issues of people regarding gynecomastia and I found you useful and knowledgeable person and I believe that you have more experience on man breasts than even local physician can have because you have dealt more with this situation , anyways the thing which is actually making me worry is not layers of tissue it is probably normal stuff on breast , but when this bothers me and makes me feel worried because I believe that its lump/cancer/tumor . Thanks alot sir

Thank you!

I had the little spots that felt like "BB's" and the holes and I  was concern too, but after the mammogram and ultrasound it set me at ease. I was taught how to do self exams too at that point as well!

This forum is a good place for us guys to get the info we need when it comes at a time like this!

Exactly , this is best forum for gynecomastia because on internet other than this forum I don't get reply or they delete gynecomastia related posts , I am very thankful to www.gynecomastia.org for helping out guys like me . I am myself in 1st year M.B.B.S Professional , now promoted to 2nd Professional , so I have adequate knowledge of what is wrong or what is good but still we are not taught about gynecoamastia or surgery yet so don't have much idea , tomorrow I am getting myself checked from breast specialist , hope everything goes fine I pray to god , will update you guys , thanks

Something to remember is that the rate of breast cancer in men is extremely low, much lower than for women.  I have heard different figures for men with Gynecomatia, but even with the highest figure of 5 times as likely as men without the chances of breast cancer are still extremely low.  Also your age at 20 years old is very young for breast cancer in almost all cases.  You have one diagnosis from your primary care provider that you are clear.  I wouldn’t get too freaked out about the situation, you are most likely fine.  Now high blood pressure from worrying about something needlessly, well that is something you may develop if you continue.
