Hi, iv been told by my surgeon that il be able to go back to work after only 2 weeks even tho im havin my skin cut and tightened up but every video on the internet i see it always says 4-6 weeks recovery so im now desperate to hear off ppl that have had there skin cut as opposed to  havin surgery via their nipples as my date is only 1 week away and iv only booked 2 weeks off work to recover so im rather concerned now???...... many thanks in advance

Assuming all goes well with your surgery and immediate recovery, you should be able to return to sedentary work within two weeks.  You may still be wearing compression garments under your shirt but there should be minimal if any pain at that time.

Naturally, you will not be fully healed in two weeks.  In fact, it will be many months before you will see the final result.

thanks for the response, much appreciated, i guess il know more in 2 days from now after surgery. if the stitches do tear open would it be a 2 min repair job or wud i need another op???
