Hi guys,
I'm thinking of going to Dr. Fielding in Toronto.  I would have to fly there for the surgery as I'm in Ontario but far from him.
How long after the surgery should I book the flight home.  I've heard of people being able to drive the next day from the hospital, etc.

Also, I'm a full-time student, would 3/4 days after the surgery be alright to return to classes (obviously no strenuous activity there)?

Hi JacobJ. I flew home two days after my operation and it wasnt a problem at all. I probably could have flown home the day after but in my case that would have felt maybe a bit too soon. Plenty of people are able to drive home the day after with almost no discomfort, this varies of course with the skill of the surgeon and how severe your gyne is.

In my case i had holiday for 2 weeks after the surgery but i could definately have attended classes 3-4 days after, even tho it might have been uncomfortable. Just look out for friends goofing around and punshing u in the chest or something  :P
