  • Gyne be gone
Hi there, yet another post from me!

I was wondering about recovery after the surgery where gyne is removed. I do know that it's different from person to person, but can you just give me some idea of how long time it will take untill I can go back to the gym and start working out.. how long will I have to wear the vest & when will I be able to return to work... If you know approx. how long time this takes, please let me know, or if you have had the surgery and can tell me how long time it took you.

I'm having surgery on 10th of June & I'm supposed to return to work on 18th of June.. it's not very hard, physically, but anyway I'm on the move during the day.

Thanks in advance,
EVT

evit....

Give it 3 weeks before getting back to the Gym. Take'r slow at first, lifting light weights. Then slowly, work your way back up to what you normally lift with.

Wear you compression garment for however long you PS prescribes.

If you have a non-physical job, then for sure you could return after 8 days of initial recovery.

Why haven't you asked your doc this question?  Any question you ask here should probably be asked of your doc as well.

In my case (and I had stomach lipo too) I woulda been OK to work in 3 days.  I was back in the with a light workout in 10 days and back to my regular workout in 3 weeks.  Listen to your body and don't go too fast.
