I had gynecomastia surgery in April. I had lipo and excision done. Everything looks fine except I gained a few pounds but I was pressing down on one of my nipples earlier and felt a little bit of a pebble feeling. Very small though. Is this normal after the surgery? I don't feel it as much on my other nipple.

Could it be some of the gland that is left there so you don't have a concave chest, that you may have not notice earlier due to swelling and soreness? Or it may also be scare tissue.

That is my hopes. I hope it's not growing back! I doubt it is but I'm pretty paranoid.

Gyne surgery is performed to provide a normal appearing contour -- not a normal feeling chest.

Sometimes there can be scar tissue which is present after surgery -- that is part of the normal healing process.

Thus, would not be concerned if you can feel something -- just be glad that it looks good.

On the other hand, if your contour begins to change and enlarge, then you should return to your surgeon for an evaluation.
