I was told my my doctor to wear my compression vest 24/7 for 4 weeks and then wear it only during night for 2-3 weeks. Some people on the board reported that they were asked to wear it only during the day after the initial period of wearing it 24/7.

Why would some doctors recommend wearing the vest only during the night and others during the day after the first 4 weeks?

  • Gyne free, is the way to be!
during the night, you body does like 80% of its healing. So, holding the area in tact at night, will make it heal with better contours.

There are differences of opinion among various experts in many specialties This is nothing new.

Once you have selected your surgeon, do as he/she says.  You selected them because you did your homework and liked their results.  Do not second guess their post-op instructions.
