It wasn't funny, and it was probably just an attempt by hypo to look clever to the audience.

I remember when hypo first started on these boards that he was the village idiot. Do some searches of his old posts/threads and you'll see what I mean.

You manage to go from a point of banter, nothing serious to out and out insults upon my character.

There was no call for that- very rude.

I have never been a village idiot here or anywhere else and if anyone wants to do a search they will see that slur for what it is.

I don’t have to try and prove my intelligence, my IQ has been measured at 149 and I am a member of Mensa.  Not that my intelligence should have anything to do with either of you or have been raised as an issue.  

I have helped dozens and dozens of people on these boards and whilst I am the first to admit that the way I go about doing that isn’t always the best, the bottom line is I have helped many, many people.   That is not a boast and has had little to do with intellect, it has just been something I've done through knowledge, determination and hard work to help people.

Neither of you have done a god darned thing for anyone as far as I have seen, so you’ll understand why I completely dismiss what you have to say.

I have helped you out on numerous occasions each of which you have said thanks.

I invested time investigating the effects of asthma medication on the endocrine system for you and detailed such information, and then I spent a lot of time looking into many endocrine books to give you information on alcohols effect on the endocrine system and did my best to help in that regard.

I did the last bit despite all my problems with you and literally searched for hours for YOU to detail important information so you were not so worried about such issues
