why still man boobs look with shirt on? help!!

had surgery, chest looks amazing without the shirt (no man boobs and chest/nipples are flat and look good).

but with a shirt, i still have that man boobs look, my chest isnt flat, and looks like the same when i used to wear shirts when i had gyne.

nope, its a clear shirt, im just so worried cause this case is so rare.

actually, it does look not look like a normal chest through a shirt, its weird because my nipple problem is gone with and without the shirt, but how my chest sticks out through shirts, its the same look of a gyne chest.

its easier to say lighten up, than being in my position, i need a solution to the problem, i can lighten up all i want, but when i look at my chest through a shirt i know theres something wrong.

Even after surgery Im still very picky about my choice in t shirts. Underarmor makes some excellent loose fit athletic wear. A lot of their material prevents the clumping around the chest that makes gyno look worse.

Ali19, I can relate sort of. I was expecting a completely flat chest after my surgery. And like you I felt my bare chest looked okay. But when I put my first golf shirt on it did protrude a bit. My surgeon explained that he had to "sculpt" a profile so to speak. There was going to be a little swelling, and that it would eventually go away after a few months. It's been 4 months and already it is calming down. Ymmv.

I am having the same exact problem, Ali19.... I am 6 weeks post op as of tomorrow though and I just keep on telling myself to be patient before jumping to conclusions.

glad im not the only one with the problem, i wouldnt so much say it looks like gyne, but there is definetely somethig sticking out, i dont think a picture would help because from the sides with a shirt on nipples/chest dont stick out, but when i look at the front, chest is definetely stick out and im sure i would get stares because it looks like some fat or something sticking out through the shirt.

I just took the time to do a bit of reading. I found from your older posts that your surgery was very recent. So my earlier response was not as thoughtful as it should have been.

It is way too early to be pasing any judgement on your surgery. You denied any post operative swelling and wanted to get rid of your compression garment very early. now you are swollen. It will take some time for that swelling to resolve itself.

Instead of saying "Lighten Up." My advice should have been to be patient. We are all different is some ways and how long it takes for your swelling to resolve is a function of how you heal. The same answer would not be correct for someone else. The only thing that can be said with certainty is that it will take longer than you might like but it will resolve.

Paw Paw is exactly correct. Properly performed gyne surgery is extremely traumatic to the tissues even though the visible skin looks normal. Underneath is a congealing matrix of healing scar tissue that will get very firm at about 2-3 months then will soften. There is no way around this. This is the way god heals things. First scar tissue gets laid down like cement to fill in the empty space. The scar tissue hardens to make sure it heals. Then, when it knows that healing is complete the scar tissue softens.

When you think about it, gyne surgery is quite traumatic. It begins with liposuction which essentially is scraping tissue out of the body. Then, the excess breast tissue is cut out. Even in the most expert hands, this process will cause swelling for 6-12 months.

Ali, I think you are being way too hard on yourself.  If you feel good without a shirt on, then that is all you should need.
