Hey everyone,

Well, I previously posted a topic on the post-surgery forum boards regarding how my surgery went, but I feel perhaps this forum is more appropriate b/c my original post didn't have much to do with post-op experiences.

First off, I only had liposuction done. I feel that this may not have been the correct choice, and my ps told me it wasn't necessary, but after reading a few of the posts regarding lipo-only from other members in the forum as well as an intricate article by Dr. Bermant, I'm starting to feel worried. But for now, I'm going to wait until I recover and see the final results after about a two-month period. If necessary, I'm willing to do a revision.

Anyways, the procedure went relatively quick, only about 1.5 hours. They put me asleep under general anesthetics and man...I didn't even know when I knocked out, I just knocked out because the only thing I remember was waking up to a huge sensation of pain. Once I got out of the anesthetics, my chest felt like it got hit by a car. After 10 to 15 minutes, the pain got better and eventually went away by the time I was in the car to go home. They wheeled me to the car on a wheelchair and I was feeling fine and normal by then.

This was last thursday, so right now I'm 4 days post-op. I just took the bandages off today as directed by my ps, and my chest looks FLAT. The results are what I expected, although as of right now it's too early to tell. I'm going to be wearing this compression vest for 6 weeks and it's sort of hard to sleep in, but I'm starting to get used to it.

Here are the pictures, as you can see I had a mild case, not too severe, but a case nonetheless.

The After pictures are from today, right after taking the bandages off after four days. As you can see, my areolas aren't exactly aligned which is making me think that the gland that may still be in there is causing the misalignment.

So far the soreness has gone down, but it's still there. I'll post some pics up if anything changes for the better/worse.
