Consultation in March (New York)

I've finally decided to go to a consultation to see Dr Jacobs in March. I've waited so long to do this surgery (mostly fear and money) and I'm finally moving forward with this. Does anybody suggest I visit other doctors before making my final decision? Or do I go with Dr Jacobs, knowing he's the best in New York in his field and just get it done and over with? I don't care about the price at this point, I just want to go with the best. What do you guys think?

If the consult goes well - why not move forward? If you feel comfortable with him why shop around if you know he also has the best qualifications and money is not an issue for you? 

My doctor was rated #1 in my area. But my decision to go with him was based on my own personal preferences after talking with him and his staff.
