Hello, I have gynecomastia, I have researched somewhat a lot of it, and was wondering some stuff.

I am 20 years old and I believe I have had it since I hit puberty.

How do the doctors diagnose you?
Do they see if you have testicular cancer?
Do they take blood?
What is the main cause for someone my age to have Gynecomastia?
How long does surgery last?

Thank you for your time!

Mine is just a mild case, not toooo bad, not good. I havn't taken my shirt off infront of anybody since i was 14, and I am 20 now. I was about 40 pounds over weight, and thats what I thought it was, so It took me 2 months too lose the weight, but the boobs went down a little bit, not too much. I have the puffy nipple case and I can feel lumps under them. How much does the surgery usually cost? Just an average price range. Thanks.

Ok, also... when you get the surgery, do you have to get into their gown naked? Ive never had surgery before, it just seems weird you have to be naked to get the surgery??

Ok, also... Do you go to the local hospital and get the surgery, or do you go to his office and get the surgery?

Hospital. I kept my boxers on and after a while they brought me some disposable briefs.

Do they usually put you to sleep, or just numb the area and do it while awake. Sorry for all the questions, just trying to get as much as info. on the surgery as possable. I plan on telling my dad I have gynecomastia after i loose 25-30 pounds. Im 6'0 and weigh 195, but I don't have muscle at all. There you got it.

So what do I do, find a plastic surgeon, then make a visit, then set up a surgery date?

try looking into jeffords.
* a man is more than a body will ever tell
* if it screws up your life the same, is there really any such thing as "mild" gyne?
