1 Week Post Surgery - Nipple discoloration? Necrosis? [B4 & After Pics]

I had surgery last week at Kaiser (norcal). Im kind of 50/50 on my results. 1 the gland feels like its almost competely gone (something like 55gs were removed it was like 5 in long - gross...). BUT my the areola is darker on the bottom two-thirds (the nipple itself too) and I can't feel the skin there at all. So while i'm stoked off the whole no gland thing, I'm freaking out cuz it looks like my nipple is dying or something. I went in  to see the surgeon today, and he didnt mention the nipple at all. So idk am I trippin over nothing or should I call him asap?
