Wondering if anyone has any opinions about how long healthy compression actually means.

I'm at the 3 week mark today, the "take off your pants and jacket (and tensor)" stage.

I feel I'll continue to wear my tight-fitting underarmour for one more week to ease my body into the non-compressed state.

At the two and two and a half week marks I took my tensor off to go out and party and stuff, just kept underarmour on, with no huge swells.

However, at what point does the body not want compression and just needs to get that initial swell out of its system to carry on with the deflating and eventual outcome of the healing process?

Just some thoughts...I dunno. I can only feel one lump of scar tissue on the side of my pec, so massaging is happening daily.

Will keep updating as I go to add to our database of info :)

I think about 6 weeks really gives it enough time.
My doctor at my 7th week visit said "take it off" and I did. Take care :)
