Hi

I have grade 1 gynecomastia, with a little gland right behind the nipples, causing them to protrude quite a bit.  I am possibly having excision of the gland done this week, and was wondering what recovery times are like?  There's recovery times listed on the internet on various sites, but I assume most of them are assuming a grade 2, 3, etc. that is a big gland, and therefore a bigger operation.  Mine appears to be fairly small, and I am a fairly physically fit 21 year old, so I am wondering what recovery times are like for my case?  Or does it not vary from grade 1 to grade 3 and up?

Thanks!

Recovery will depend upon the methods used by your surgeon.  Best to pose this question to him directly.

Good luck with your surgery!
