Surgery Tomorrow Morning with Dr. Fielding ** UPDATED before/AFTER pics***

Hi guys,

tomorrow is the big day for me.  I have mixed emotions.  I am extremely scared but at the same time, extremely happy at the thought of ridding myself of this life long curse.  I have never gone on a warm vacation in my 29 yrs because of the curse.  I did go to Florida last yr but i wouldn't call that a vacation as i was the only one wearing a shirt on the beach.

This website has been quite an inspiration for me.  If it wasn't for all you guys, I never would have realized there was a way to reverse the curse and that i wasn't the only one suffering.  Even after surgery, you should all continue to come back and post for others who are suffering from the same condition too help make their decision easier.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for instilling the confidence in me to pick up the phone and book a consult with Dr. Fielding.  My biggest impediment in life is almost gone.

I will be back after the surgery to let you know what happens.

Hey guys,

I am in the hospital on my blackberry writing this message.
Everything went fine.  I had virtually no pain after the surgery and haven't even taken 1 single pill for pain since waking.

I met with Dr. Fielding this morning and he said I looked very good when he was finished.  He told me that he took out almost 2 cups of gland and fat!  My case was pretty bad for a fairly lean guy.  I am 4 pounds heavier than Health Canada says I should be for my height.

I'll post a more detailed post with before pics in the next few days.

To all who are contemplating the surgery,  it is not painful at all.  I felt fine 15 minutes after I woke up.

I went for the 1 wk post-op today.  My results are great.  No more gyne. 

I know all of you are saying that swelling will kick in soon and they will get puffy again while healing.

My question is, after the swelling goes down, can i expect them to look the way they did today?
