Hi,

I was wonderign what is the best way to reduce the swelling after the op? Has anyone any ideas. I have been told the swelling is due to brusing and excess fluid. The only thing i have been told to do apart from massage is to drink water as if you drink lots it should help you ex-spell the rest which sound a bit strange..

Thanks

My surgeon recommended taking the herbal remedy arnica for one week before surgery and a couple of weeks post-surgery.

Just so you know i had the op on the 1st and the swelling has gone down though there is still alot of it and i was wondering could this be because he (the doc) took 1kg from each side? Also when you say give it time, how much time are you on about?

Thanks in advance,.
