I'm 32 and lived with gynecomastia since I was a teen. No matter how much weight I lost my manboobs would never go away. 2 years ago I lost 60 lbs from 210 to 155 lbs and still had the moobs. I opted for gynecomastia surgery because I was very displeased with my chest appearance. I underwent surgery with excision and lipo a little over 1 year ago. I waited the full year for revision and went back to my PS. He denied revision and said I looked great. My dreams of getting rid of gynecomastia were over. $5000 down the tubes. I saw another PS and he said my areola needed to be reduced and a donut procedure need to be performed, this would tighten up the chest skin. Here I am 4 mths later and not totally satisfied with the outcome. I will give the PS some credit, my chest looks alot better but not what I expected. I expected to be totally flat like the rest of the guys on here. I have seen guys on here that had gyne worse than me and they look better. Maybe I am just being obcessive compulsive about this, I DONT KNOW. Please be honest and let me know!! Thanks guys for all your support, maybe I am neurotic. Seriously. Thanks again  ;D

Honestly bro, the picture quality sucks. Try taking some pictures with some distance and in better lighting for one. I could really only get a sense from 1-2 pics. Based on one I saw of you with a blind fold on in the mirror, I'd say you may have some fat deposit still under your left nipple. It doesn't look symmetrical to your right when you flex. Overall, I see a huge difference though. I wouldn't be embarrassed to go shirtless if I was you. You look good enough to pass that test. I think we are all very hypocritical on ourselves. I finally got rid of my gyno but now I have loose skin that shows when I am relaxed or hunched over. It's like a fat roll only it's skin. I almost wish he would have left some fat behind in areas away from my nipples to keep my skin filled out. But I told him to get every last bit of it cause I don't want to come back again. He even removed every bit of gland. Told me nothing but skin and muscle left when he was done. I am now having to train hard in the gym to try and replace the fat that once filled my skin with muscle to hopefully stretch it out. I never was fat which is the weird thing. I've seen guys lose 60lbs or more and not show loose skin as much as me. It sucks. I think overall your surgery looks better than mine.

Does anyone think I need any type of revision??

Your left side looks like mine did after my first surgery and I felt like I needed a revision still. So I got one. Not sure if that helps you out any. No one wants to hear "get a revision". But speaking for myself and me being a perfectionist, I would get a revision. It could just be the angle of the photo I saw too. You know bro? It's how you feel about it and you asking these questions tell me you aren't happy with the results. So do what makes you feel best.

Thanks for all the comments guys. Flex, you say my left side looks bigger and I agree with you. However, if you look at my before pix, my left is bigger too. I didn't know the PS could make them symmetrical??

Sure a plastic surgeon can make them symmetrical. Or, as symmetrical as possible. Plastic surgeons are no different than people who make things out of clay. It's body sculpting. That's all. My right side had some left in it after surgery #1 and I asked him to redo it concentrating on more symmetry. Granted, I realize he can't sculpt muscle. So if your left side is naturally bigger from muscle than nothing you can do to fix it thru a PS. But it looks like there is some fat or gland still under your left nipple. That's why I say you may want to talk more to your PS. No one else here seems to notice but I am telling you what I see.

Thanks Flex. I would give you advice on your other post but I don't think I would be much help. I think you look fine, maybe tighten up the chest by filling in your chest with more muscle. I dunno. Sorry I can't advise. Good luck.

you have to admit it's an improvement.  i was surprised at the incision on the right though, i thought everybody knew to make a circumareolar cut to hide scarring ???
* a man is more than a body will ever tell
* if it screws up your life the same, is there really any such thing as "mild" gyne?
