Brushing your teeth pre-surgery day? [Question to everyone gone through surgery]

I was asked to not consume any food or water. But is brushing my teeth okay? As long as I don't swallow any water, just rinse my mouth out etc.?

My surgery takes place tomorrow, and I'm ecstatic

Brushing your teeth is fine, don't worry!I did that too before surgery last week and everything went fine
