How does it heal?

Is it true that the less I have, the better/easier it will heal (in general)?

Also, what about the scarring from the the areola excision? How does that heal?

I have a very minor case of gyne and if the areola scar does not heal well, I would rather remain with the slight case I have than have the scar. What are your experiences with the external scarring?

I'm not a doc, but i think that permanent scarring in the form of a keloid or hypertrophic skin growth after areola incision, is more common in people with darker skin though not exclusive to this group. There are silicone patches that help reduce such side effects...many surgeons offer armpit incisions, so u might want to check that option out.
