Driving after surgery?

I was thinking of driving to the airport  and leaving the car there and when i fly back after my surgery, i want drive home. has anyone here driven home say two days after surgery?

i drove 48 hours after surgery.my drive was 2 hour journey.

depends man...personally i drove when i was 4 days post op and found it very uncomfterable mainly because i had the armpit excission which can be quite painful when lifting arms.. but i was driving a car with no power steering either so that put quite a lot of strain on me turning... lots of people do drive after surgery but it is really hard to call some people are worse than others after surgery its a tricky gamble .... i also found it tough getting in and out of the car...

thanks for the input guys, i ve only got a 15 mile drive from the airport. so i think ill take the car. it cant be that bad. my surgery will done via areola excision.
