I am looking for information on how to go about looking into the surgery and who to talk to. I am 29yrs old. I used to weight about 280lbs. I then decided to join the Marine Corp. I pushed myself to work out and lost 80lbs. I have always had  since I was a kid. I thought that when I lost a bunch of weight it would go away. It didn't! So now I am a Marine and have a problem with my chest. Where can I go to get looked at or look into this? I am currently in Missouri till November then I am not sure where I will be going. I thought the military would pay for it I'm not sure though. If not I am willing to pay and have the surgery done. How do I go about getting the processed started?

Devildog; just go to a doctor, any doctor. Get the blood tests for hormones etc, start the process, get some consultation. I'm in the miliary and TRICARE covered my surgery. I put more details in my posts in Surgery Success Stories under military coverage. Good luck.
