Thinkin about surgery.  Will I need these glands in the future if i remove them?  What are the long-term side effects from an operation to remove the glands?  (Patrial and full removal)

Most men have no use for their mammary glands -- unless they are planning to have gender reassignment surgery (ie to switch their sex) and then take female hormones to stimulate their growth.

Losing that excess tissue during routine gyne surgery will not affect your life in any way.
