Consulation Booked with Karidis

Hi, I've been looking on these boards for quite a long time now they've been a real help! I've finally got the money together for the op with Karidis, and booked a consultation for the end of the month. I'm hoping to have the op done as soon after as possible. Just wondering if anyone has and important advice about preparation before the op, and things to do after?

Get fit which is something I didn't do, or lose weight if you have put on a bit of weight. Chopper's thread has a great do's and don't check that out.
