Marks from compression vest

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone else had red marks under their arms from where the compression vest dug in a bit (and if so, how long it took for them to fade)?

I have one on my right hand side which goes from under my arm around the back of my shoulder

I think this was from the first 24 hours post op - when I came around from the anesthetic, the compression vest wasn't quite on straight and dug in on that side.
When I showered the next day, I made sure I put the spare vest on properly and used socks to stop it digging in under the arms.

I've been massaging it with oil or lotion as best I can, but it's difficult to reach.

I'm nearly 4 months post op now, so basically just wondering when it will go...I'm kind of amazed that 24 hours of the vest digging in left me with a red mark that has lasted this long!

My vest seemed to be denting my chest which I was worried about but there's absolutely no sign of the vest like that anymore.
