Last Thursday I was 1 week post-op and I was able to take the pads out of my compression vest. I thought I looked tremendous with a t-shirt on and was so happy with what I looked liked even wearing the vest under my clothes. Is it normal for the swelling to get worse at this stage? Now when I go put that same shirt on I had last week, it just doesn't look the same as it did and I look a little bigger.

don't worry if u didn't got a little bigger it would be not normal ,,, it is normal to get a bit bigger after the surgery ,,, but stop removing the vest ,,, and in one month you will get like u just came out of the surgery again

Good advice.

Post operative swelling could be a problem for a while yet. It may take a while for you to see the permanent result.

Be patient.
