Just got back from my family doctor

I just went and saw my family doctor. He is referring me to see a plastic surgeon. I thanked him for his professionalism, and he said, "This is a legitimate medical issue and we will treat it as such". So I have had a a pretty positive experience so far. I had negative ones in the past, but that was when I couldn't see my family doctor. I am pretty sure this will be covered by insurance because I told him it is painful.
