I believe I have gynecomastia. I am a 30 year old male. I have been hitting the gym for about 6 years straight now and I can't shake it. I am 6 foot 3. Whether I weight 260 pounds or whether i weight in the 190's (which I am at now) my chest is still puffy. If I use my fingers and pull the skin down towards the arms on both sides, it looks how I want it to look.

Anyway, I have been doing my research online. I have about 4K to spend on this. It has taken me a long time to save that up as I have other situations that keep me from working much. But this is something that has bothered me for many years. I know it won't completely fix my self esteem but it would be one thing I wouldn't have to think about anymore. No more loose shirts and all that, no more looking at every mirror to see if they are noticeable etc. I live in NY and to save up anymore than what I have would take me years. I'm deathly afraid of picking the wrong guy and getting butchered. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

There are things you don't want to scrimp on.  Surgeons are one of them.
The best ones are affiliated with med schools.  Here's a link to PA med schools.  See which one has a PRS fellowship program and check it out.

Good luck, I hope it works out for you!

Does higher cost necessarily mean better though?

Some Doc's may charge more if they have better credentials. But I wouldn't 'take it to the bank' tho!

Get a PS that you can afford and hope for the best!

You don't believe that is risky? Money is an issue for me unfortunately. I also have to look at every mirror every day because it's been bothering me for so long.

From my understanding $4K won't get you a surgery in NY.

I'm willing to travel to surrounding states if I need to.

If I had 6g's, I would easily spend it. This is where my problem lies.
