Is it normal for one nipple to be squeezed inward?

I had the surgery on Jan 9 with Dr. Silverman.  The skin part of the post op has gone very well so far.  The skin has contoured very well and my chest is pretty flat but my left nipple kind looks squished inward and has a kind of oval shape to it almost like a cats eye while my right nipple is perfectly circular. Do you think there is a chance it will resolve on its own?  Could it just be considered normal in some way.

It is still very early in your recovery and it can take months to see the finished product, and you also have a very good doctor as well, so you will need to be patient for now!
