Hiding the fact that I'm going to have a gynecomastia surgery

So guys I'm planning on getting my gynecomastia removed. I'm 21 years old and I think its really time to get it done. Already saved up enough money for it in case the insurance won't cover it. Right now I'm currently talking to a GP that will refer me to a specialist for consultation. My major concern and problem in this experience is that the fact that I will hide this to my family. I still live in my parents house. To be honest I don't think they will be against it as long as I use my own money. But they're really not going to be supportive with this kind of things.since its really expensive. In that case unlike getting braces its "out of the norm" for them. So the point that I'm trying to get across is that I want this to be very discrete and confidential. I pretty much already figured out how I'm going to hide my chest after the surgery. Unfortunately I'm really worried that the surgical company might send MAILS at my home like for example the receipts etc. I know theres a thing called a right to confidentiality for patients. So my qustion is can you just tell the company to never send you mails and do it by E-MAILs instead? Just like e bank statements where you have to view your transaction history via email. I'm probably going to talk about this on my surgeon and the company & I just wanted to make sure that its going to be100% discrete and confidential. Any information on this matter would be glady appreciated !

Ummm, dude, you're an adult. This isn't something stupid like shooting heroin or joining a gang, this is - for you - a health issue.
If you have any significant amount of gyno, surely they already know about it anyway....

Just tell your parents mate, I went through the same thing and was going to go alone for the surgery but I told my parents and i'm glad I did they where hugely supportive (my dad even paid half towards it and travelled to London with me for the surgery). You will be gone for a day and come back hardly being able to move your arms, not being able to take a shower, wearing a thick compression vest for a few weeks so if they touch you they will be like wtf are you wearing.
For a couple of days after the surgery you will struggle to even put a shirt on, the day after my dad had to take mine off for me. It would be best to wear a button down shirt because putting your arms above your head to take a t shirt off would be tough/painful.
Let them know how crippling gyno can be, I was very antisocial and felt people where staring at my nipples through my clothes. Find pictures online of big fat glands that have been removed and dumped on patients chest to show them that it is actually a growth that isn't normal that is being removed and you aren't just going for vanity lipo suction. That was the thing that got my parents, that no diet or exercise could fix the issue and would probably make it more apparent (less fat surrounding the gland, more muscle pushing the gland out further).
